etch a sketch phone

I’m well aware of the marvel that is Etsy, yet sometimes I find it overwhelming to dive in and try and sort out the jewels from the… non-jewels.  So, today I was thrilled to see so many fun finds featured in Etsy’s November shopping guide.  I literally giggled out loud in my cubicle when I saw yummypocket‘s felt Etch a Sketch iPhone cozy.  It made me nostalgic for the times when the most stressful part of my day was battling with those little white dials in an effort to sketch a house or a princess.

I was also quite taken with cozyblue’s custom heart tree pillow cover.  The red embroidered heart is “carved” into the tree trunk with your initials, making it a perfect wedding or anniversary present.

Happy November!

swakbysarahSwak by Sarah has some really unique jewelry pieces. Like this firefly necklace. But my favorite piece  is this custom Little Artist pendant. You can actually have your child’s artwork made into a piece of jewelry. I love this idea! Visit Swak by Sarah for more info.

happygirlgreetingsEarlier in the week, Holly of Decor8 posted about her new business cards (which are absolutely lovely) and it got me thinking about my own business cards. As I was searching around, one of the shops I looked at was Happygirl Greetings. Laura Beth’s vintage-modern fusion is quite sweet. Wouldn’t these be cute for a vintage shop owner? And very affordable I might add…a set of 50 custom cards start as low as $12.50! Visit Laura Beth’s shop, Happygirl Greetings for more info.
