Sometimes on Workspace Wednesday, I wish I could get close up to the spaces I share. Touch the inspiration boards, smell the flowers on the desk… Since that’s not really an option, today I am doing the next best thing: Workspace details (as in close-ups).

Its been forever since I posted a Friday links or anything from the pns flickr group…so today’s the day. Before we get to the links, I wanted to remind everyone to check out the two great giveaways we have going on right now. There are three ways to win for each giveaway! Follow the links to enter:

Lori Portka’s Illustrations and Leanne Graeff’s Camper Tea Towels

-Congratulations to Tara of Scoutie Girl for her recent guest curator post on Etsy’s The Storque. Tara is wonderful to work with, and it was a treat to see her unusual (but beautiful) picks.

-Three amazing Before and After’s from Design SpongeOne. Two. Three.

-Inspiring photos from Alana Davis, found by Ez of Creature Comforts.

-Happy handmade spaces over on Modish right now.

That’s it for this week. I will be back on Sunday to share the weekend edition of shop of the day. Until then, have a great weekend!

Congrats to Kathryn of Blackbird Letterpress, who just had her gorgeously eclectic home featured on Design Sponge! You have really got to see this! Kathryn is currently an exhibitor on papernstitch as well and it was a real treat to be able to “explore” her home via Grace’s lovely post.

Some people are just so darn creative I can’t even handle it – and I’d say 90% of them have featured their knock-your-socks-off ideas on the mecca that is Design Sponge.  That’s where I came across this ridiculously cute DIY project.

Combining the chic style of wrought-iron with the comfort of upholstery, this handmade headboard is too cute for words.

Happy Friday my pets – you survived another week!

Over the weekend, I took some time to catch up on all my favorite blogs I have been missing over the last several weeks. And of course, one of my stops was Design Sponge (who by the way is up for a Homie Apartment Therapy award this year along with two other favs of mine: Decor8 and Making it Lovely). While browsing around, I came across a DIY post that left me saying, ” Why didn’t I think of that.”It was for this recycled painting noteboard that is magnetic.

I was pretty excited when I found it because I love recycling things I have around my house (you may even remember a DIY faux bois bulletin board I did a while back). So, when I saw this, I knew I would have to make one myself. And I bet you’ll want to make one too. Check out the step by step instructions right here.
