First off, Happy Halloween! I’m sure you’ll be getting your fill of last minute Halloween goodness around the web. So I’ll be in the friendly, Halloween-free-zone today to give you something a little different.

These are some things I am adoring today…

1. Poly Jean Limited Edition Shoes

2. Claire Kinder Speckled Band with Diamond

3.  Butterscotch of Brooklyn Skelton Gold Ring (I need two rings apparently)

4. Printed Canvas iPad Cases

5. Notes Print Wool Scarf

6. Clare Vivier Tropesienne Leather Tote

P.S. If you really need a Halloween fix before you go, you can check out these projects for inspiration: tissue mini pumpkins // creepy spider pie diy // metallic painted pumpkins.

I did a little shopping this weekend and picked up a super comfy dress (that I am totally planning on wearing nearly everyday). But I think I caught the shopping bug because I came home and started prepping/writing this week’s 5 Faves and somehow came away with a wish list the size of Miami.

I don’t want to overwhelm you, or even begin to think about all the shops I just bookmarked, so let’s just start with five…

I am kind of obesessed with the small batch collection of Minneapolis-based bag shop MATINE. Aside from the cognac and gold one above , this scallop clutch is definitely on my wishlist.

If I could, I would buy every single piece in the Young Frankk shop. Every necklace, ring, and bracelet is handmade in Richmond, VA and I love all of them (but this one is my fave if I can only choose one).

3. LumiStyle

Fall is coming! And depending on where we’ll soon be moving (I still don’t know believe it or not), I may have to stock up on knitwear. These boot cuffs would have been a life saver when I was living in Seattle. BONUS: Receive a 10% discount when you enter coupon code LUMIPNS at the checkout.

4. Leah Goren

You probably already know about Leah Goren from Etsy or her Made In Kind collection for Anthropologie. But just in case you don’t, let me be the first to introduce you.

5. Mrs.Pomeranz

Mrs.Pomeranz will always be on my list of faves, creating unique “new look” silhouettes for dresses and skirts using sewing techniques from the 50s. The ‘mini’ collection is my favorite.

That’s it for today’s shopping list.

Did you have a good weekend?

If you live up north, you are definitely going to want to bookmark this shop.

It’s called Lumiere (Lumi for short) and is based in sunny Cornwall by the sea. Everything is designed and made by Emily. I love the bright colors – you don’t always see that in cold weather accessories.

Take advantage of this special offer: Receive 10% off any purchase at Luimere when you enter the coupon code LUMIPNS at the checkout.

Do you remember that show Sister, Sister from the 90s?

I loved that show when I was little (I think I was ten or eleven when it started airing). Mainly because I use to daydream about having a sister myself. I have one brother whom I love dearly, but having a sister (in addition to, not in leu of) would have been awesome too.

My best friends in high school were sisters and there was such a strong bond between them. Made me a little jealous. Like I was missing out or something.

Do you know what I mean? Or is this just me?

Maybe that’s why I am so drawn to the story of Little Minnow, a little shop on Etsy with a lot of heart. It’s run by two sisters, Lizzi and Mary, which of course I love. I am always on the lookout for husband and wife teams, but I don’t come across too many siblings working together, so this is pretty neat to me.

The two girls live in Austin, Texas, where they sketch all of their designs. Drawings are then transfered to the computer and then make their way over to screen printing. I know you are probably tired of hearing about my scarf hunt by now, but obviously, I’m partial to them…

Discount: 10% off your entire order when you use the code PAPER10 at checkout.

Visit Little Minnow to see more from this sister duo.

It’s hard to tell from my post, but they do carry other items beside scarves. :)

This is our closet.

Well part of it anyway (my favorite part).

It is two or three times the size of our old one in Florida, but somehow we’ve managed to fill it to the brim with clothes and shoes. And Luna likes to sleep in there too, so I think we can all agree that it’s fair to blame her for not being able to fit anything else in there. Right?

Cool, so we’re on the same page about blaming the dog. But even so, that doesn’t change the fact that we don’t have much space left for new things. Which is why I am starting to think that unisex wearables are the way to go – saves space and it’s cheaper because you and your mate can wear it. Just not at the same time. Preferably.

Now, that’s probably not going to work when it comes to shoes or most clothing, but accessories? Yeah, I can do that! And you know I am hunting for scarves since several people told me in the comments of this post that having just one scarf in Seattle is basically insane.

So how about one of these…

I think I am partial to the red and black one - it feels kind of lumberjack-y in a good way, but green is good too.

They’re made by Don’t Get it Twisted Crochet and they look pretty cozy to me. What about you? If you like what you see you can get 20% off your order with the coupon code “PNSJAN”. There are plenty of more girlie styles too if you don’t want to go the unisex route.

That’s going to wrap things up for the week. Hope you have an amazing weekend! Stay warm.
