5 DIYs for your Weekend

I have to admit, this week has been a crazy one – lots to do before heading off to Salt Lake City in a week and half for Alt Summit. Will you be there? I’d love to meet you, so let me know. I’m working on a semi-secret project which will be revealed at Alt that I am excited to share (hint: it’s DIY related) and I am also working with HP on a separate project for Curbly that will have an Alt Summit component. Can’t wait to share that stuff with you!

In the meantime, I found some cool DIYs from around the web for you to try this weekend…

Shrinky Dink Rings DIY from Lana Red

DIY Paperclay Jewelry Bust Display from Lexy Ward for WhimseyBox

Jewel Embellished Skirt from High on DIY

DIY Fringe Mylar Poms from Studio DIY

Hope you have a great weekend!

I will Rach! Just can’t share the details just yet… 🙂 Finished up a huge portion of it this weekend though. Very excited about that.

Thanks for all the lovely tweets and comments on this post everyone. Much appreciated!

I love spicing up an old outfit with adding jewels or studs to clothing. Its a good and cheap way for getting “new” clothes. Maybe ill do some this weekend. Thanks for these great projects.

Alack and alas, I will not be at Alt this year. I would love to go sometime, though! Thank you for these weekend DIY’s. I love being able to set the whole weekend aside to create. I have a couple projects up my sleeve that I can’t wait to try out.

On to the weekend! 🙂
