Behind the Scenes: Here, There, Everywhere

Behind the Scenes at Paper & Stitch

We’ve been doing a lot of Behind the Scenes-ing lately, but I’ve been hoarding all the photos until now, for reasons even I don’t understand. But I’m unleashing the beast today and sharing some of the crazy messes, awkward photos,  and other happenings we’ve been working on lately. Never a dull moment around here, that’s for sure…

Behind the scenes for the holidays, at Paper & Stitch

I made some holiday chalkboard wreaths for Lindsay Olives. The tutorial is right here if you want to make your own.

Clean up on aisle 2! Every time we play with food (or drinks) I have to get the paper towels out. I’m just a mess, what can I say. From the Dona Chai popsicle recipe post.

Behind the scenes, styling a shoot

What it looked like just beyond the frame. See the final photo here.

This is my ‘I can’t be bothered to look like I care’ face, from our neon Thanksgiving shoot. But I do really care! My face just does what it wants, unfortunately.

Here’s what the pattern-centric piggy banks shoot looked like behind the scenes.

Styling by Brittni Mehlhoff for Pinhole Press

I did some styling work for Pinhole Press recently, which was fun.

Flowers form the market

And these are the flowers we used for the DIY holiday centerpiece project. My wallet is still pissed that the studio is 3 doors down from a wholesale flower market. But I just can’t help myself.

So, that’s what I’ve been up to lately. What about you? What have you been working on lately?

I am totally checking out Pinhole Press — that memory game is fantastic! My niece & nephew would love this! I wonder if they would make & ship it in time for Christmas? Heading there now 🙂
