Cover Me

This weekend I thought I would hit up some thrift stores since I hadn’t been in a while. Having nothing in particular that I was looking for, I spent the better part of the day walking aimlessly through each shop. One of the best things that I found on my journey was this book. I am not much of a fiction reader, so I can honestly say that the only reason I bought this book, Brood of Eagles, was because of the cover. I found the colors and imagery to be quite interesting.

And here is the inside cover: also very strange but I like it. In case you are interested in the other details…Brood of Eagles is by Richard Martin Stern and is about two brothers (Tom and Ira) and Ira’s wife after World War I.
