Up to this point, I have never really used a case for my iPhone because I can’t find a case that I like enough to cover up my already beautiful phone. But that very fact is exactly why I am excited about today’s design challenge from UncommonGoods, a Brooklyn-based online retailer hosting a very special opportunity for artists…
From now until midnight on June 7th, you have the opportunity to design an iPhone case of your very own and the chance to win $500 cash AND a commission off the cases sold.
PLUS if you make something awesome and you win, I’ll finally have a case to buy for my phone that I actually like! Now do you see why I am excited?
Here are the details: This challenge is a call for all 2D designers to share their paintings, sketches, collages, digital graphics and photographs for a chance to see them printed on an iPhone case to be sold on UncommonGoods. One grand prize winner will win $500 and 5% sales commission on cases sold. Yay! All finalists will be invited to share their entire portfolio with the team of UncommonGoods buyers, receive feedback from a panel of judges and receive exposure to our online community. Sounds awesome!
