Why, yes.  I would very much love to live in a House o’ Flowers.  (And Paris wouldn’t be so bad either…)


Spotted on Design Milk, Edouard Francois  Tower Flower is an apartment building located in the 17th arrondissement of Paris.  The balcony railings are interspersed with potted bamboo plants.


How lovely to wake up every morning and peer through your own little bamboo jungle – your personal green respite within the city.

That is so funny Kathryn. I just saw this yesterday on Design Milk and thought wow- how crazy! Crazy cool. (yeah I said that). Thanks for posting it!

Just checked out MVRDV’s Parkrand Building Iva. Love it! Thanks for letting me know about the project- I had no idea.


We have our own in Barcelona, and I think I like it better. Check it out.

Although it’s not actually appartments, but the office building of one of the most powerful publishing houses (if not “the most”) in Spain.
