Every year, I buy a few new ornaments to add to our Christmas collection. It’s become sort of a tradition. And since we’re planning on getting into the holiday spirit early this time (hoping to get our tree this weekend coming up), I’ve already started the ornament search.
Here are a handful of holiday ornaments I am loving right now…
1. stitched sea urchin ornaments 2. paper ball in black + white stripes 3. spangled sea walrus 4. stuffed bird cage ornament 5. porcelain chateau ornament 6. facet ornament 7. rolleilfex ornament 8. woodland creature ornaments 9. metal bow ornaments 10. glass ornament set 11. colorpop pom pom ornament
And my favorite Etsy ornaments…
12. himmeli ornament set 13. folded diamond paper ornament 14.black christmas tree ball 15. vintage disco ball ornaments 16. hello bear ornament 17. vintage mercury glass ornaments 18. porcelain ferris wheel ornament 19. geometric upcycled paper ornament 20. paper cut mitten ornament set
Have any other ornament suggestions for me? I’m all ears. Leave a link in the comments below and I’ll check it out.
P.S. Speaking of holidays, the new papernstitch exhibition opened today and it is filled with handmade and vintage holiday gifts and other goodies for you to explore.

(@AndreeaAyers) (@AndreeaAyers)Hi Laurie. I’m not sure that it really ‘comes together’ but I feel like that is what I love most about our Christmas trees….it’s filled with memories since we buy a few new ornaments every year and we don’t care if it looks cohesive or not. We usually look for a tree with a little character (strange, squiggly top branch, etc) anyway, so our tree is typically craziness. 🙂
papernstitchI would love to see your tree when you get it decorated. I’ve always had an eclectic tree but sometimes feel there isn’t enough cohesion. How do you make them all come together?
LaurieThe walrus!, the woodland creatures!, the geometric ornaments. They’re so fantastic. 🙂 Thank you for putting these boards together!
