Goals for the new year Giveaway

Yesterday, I introduced you to these unique calendars and planners from Blue Sky that feature patterns and design from letterpress company Egg Press. And just as I mentioned in my post yesterday, today we are giving away not one but two of these 2011 planners. Just in time for the new year!

More details on the partnership: As part of Blue Sky’s designer series, they have teamed up with Egg Press (a letterpress stationery company) to create a limited edition line that combines everyday utility with the unique patterns and designs that Egg Press is known for. There are several types of calendars available: planners, wall calendars and desk calendars. And they are all pretty dang cool. You can browse Blue Sky here to find your own favorites from Egg Press. Or visit the stationery department at local Target store now, and you’ll find ’em.

Here’s how to win one of these planners. Each entry should be a separate comment. You can enter up to 3 times…

1. Answer the following question in the comments below: What is the number one goal (business or otherwise) you hope to accomplish in 2011?

2. Subscribe to the papernstitch blog by clicking here and then leave a message in the comments that says “subscribed”. **Ill know if you really did or did not subscribe, so lets play fair.

3. Tweet a link to this giveaway on twitter. Or send out a link via facebook. *You can use the handy buttons below this post to link via facebook and twitter.

**Giveaway will end on January 12th at 11:59 pm eastern time.** Two winners will be chosen and each winner will receive one of the 2011 planner shown in the photos.

My number one goal for 2011 is to actually figure out what it is I want to do. I have way too many interests, but can’t figure out how to combine them or discern what would be best for me business-wise.

(Closets/drawers are clear, I know where everything is, hell, things may be labeled and color coded!)

Hence why these planners tantalize me so!

My biggest goal for 2011 is to graduate with my undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering in May & start grad school in the fall (and with all of the grad school application deadlines, exams, and assignments I’ll have to remember, a planner would definitely come in handy)!

Also, I just subscribed to your blog via Yahoo’s reader. And posted this contest on my twitter account (@karinbodnar)!

My #1 goal this year is to actually use a planner.. for the entire year. I’m so good in the beginning of the year b/c I’m pumped, but by April or so.. I lose my motivation. I feel that with these cute planners, this goal will be accomplished!

And in using a planner, it’ll help my overall goal of being organized with my life.

I want to get better at sales and human relations. I think it’s fascinating that you can convince someone to buy something they really don’t need by tapping into their desires. I’m reading a great book right now about this and that mightt be the inspiration for this goal. Also, I work on commission so the better my sales, the easier it is for me to pay my power bill!
