I Have Some News + I Want to Do a Little Somthin’ Somethin’ for You

I can’t believe it has taken me this long to mention it, but I am excited to say that Jeff and I have been working on a little blog redesign for the last few weeks (Luna helped too). And it’s almost ready to show off. Should be up soon. And I am looking forward to getting your feedback.

But aside from that, I really, REALLY want to do something special for you to say thanks for sticking around here on the blog (its been almost three years now), chatting with me on twitter, making me smile with your emails, and all of those wonderful things.

Just saying the words doesn’t seem like enough. So, I want to ask you…

What can I do for you that would make you smile the way you have made me smile from ear to ear over the last three years?

I have some ideas, but I thought I would ask you first. AndΒ I am really open to any ideas, so toss ’em at me and, together, we’ll see what sticks. No idea is too big or too small.

So share your ideas below and I’ll do my very best to make it happen.

ooooh, this one is probably too big…. however, it would be amazing if you could make it to Phoenix for a craft fair or some other event πŸ™‚ I’d love to meet you and see your work

Anna

Honestly? I think the thing that has the highest likelihood of getting grins out of me would be if you posted excessive amounts of photos of your cute little dog! Doggie pics never fail to make me smile πŸ™‚ Or you can plan my wedding for me so I can stop being stressed out in the first place. But posting dog pictures is probably easier… πŸ˜‰

The Hungry Crafter

Haha. Thanks The Hungry Crafter. I can definitely do that. I ahev a flickr set that has some pics of Luna and my cat Nuggs if you want to check it out. Might tide you over πŸ™‚ : http://www.flickr.com/photos/[email protected]/sets/72157621405678441/

I think it would be cool if you could share some cool downloads for everybody to enjoy. Maybe some bookmarks/wallpapers, something like that:)

Hannah Moore

Love that idea Hannah. Thanks for your thoughts!

Hi Brittni,
I love reading your blog – every post! but the thing I love reading the most is inspiring DIYs! Maybe you could post us a DIY of some kind of a gift that we can then make and pass on to people we are grateful for! Like a chain of gratitude πŸ™‚

Sarah

Hi Sarah. Thank you. I absolutely love your idea. Really, REALLY love it! My mind is churning with ideas now, but if you think of any specific “gift” you’d like to learn how to make just let me know.

Love reading your blog and I am interested in seeing the re-design. When you did this last re-design it took me a couple of days to get used to it but I thought it was really well done so I am really curious for the next step!

Viviana

oh i can’t wait to see the new blog design. that’s a tough task, right?! there’s actually nothing you must do to make me happy. i’m always happy stopping by your blog and read about the wonderful things you write. you’re already doing enough for us πŸ™‚

lou

Aw, thanks Lou and Viviana.

Aww! Cute photo of you and Luna.

I think your photography is amazing. A post of your photography tips/tips for your readers and potential clients who need help with product photography would be useful. And perhaps some easy post-production tips, too!

Van

Thanks Van. I do have an article that lists my top ten tips for photography here: http://www.papernstitchblog.com/2010/06/21/top-ten-tips-for-better-product-photography/

Hi Brittni! πŸ˜€ I’ve been away for a while but was excited to see this post just now about your blog redesign. Whatever you and Jeff come up with is going to be awesome! You are so thoughtful to think of your readers in this way. I like Sarah’s idea of posting a nifty DIY; and pics of cute fuzzy things are always a plus too! πŸ˜‰

Mai

Thank you Mai! I am working on getting these ideas fleshed out to bring them to everyone as soon as possible. I really appreciate your feedback and kind words (which always make me smile).
