I’d Like you to Meet Someone…

Remember that post I wrote months ago about needing an intern? Well, guess what? I found someone. Someone awesome! Her name is Rachel Anne Williams, and she is adorable (amongst other great qualities). Rachel will be working as our kick-ass advertising lady. So if you’d like to become a pns sponsor, you’ll most likely be working with Rachel. And she’ll also be posting here on the blog from time to time about handmade goodies that you will love. In fact, her first post is coming up next. So, be sure to check that out.

Here are a few fun facts, straight from Rachel herself…

“I’m a late 20-something wife to T, and mother of a one year old beauty, Bird, who gave me the inspiration for my first shop item that has just spiraled into Goose and Trisser. I foolishly moved back from Southern California after two fun years of great weather and good times, back to my forever home in Southeast Michigan. But I wouldn’t have it any other way. After 4 years at Michigan State University (go Spartans!), I used to spend my days doing advertising, and now I spend them with my Bird, napping when she naps, playing when she plays and creating in the wee hours. It has been a crazy transition becoming a stay at home mom, but it’s been worth it. Rounding out my days, I make time for my husband who loves my hair brained schemes and is unconditionally supportive, which is great because I’m always coming up with something new to try.

My shop, Goose and Trisser, launched in November of 2010 and quickly moved to become a place to showcase my love of embroidery, among other things. I’m looking forward to continuing to engage with the handmade community and being a big help for Papernstitch.”

I hope you all will join me in making Rachel feel welcome around here. I am very happy to have her as part of the team.
