Interior Obsessions – Aqua Redux

pns1_130815

It's amazing how many interior accent colors feel so much more like a neutral. Aqua is one of those colors that skillfully straddles that line. Whether it is light and airy or deep and dark, aqua has become part of everyday decor.

Aqua works well in most color schemes. Bright against black and white, a calming pop with wood and neutral tones, it even works combined with a palette of other brights or pastels. You can choose to paint an entire wall, or accent with glass bottles or a painted chair. However much you decide to use, aqua brings a modern touch to your home decor.

Is aqua one of your go-to colors, or is it hard to dip your toes on in?

Love the aqua mirror. I’m a beach bum, so I work with aqua and its cousin turquoise all of the time. 🙂

I really like the color of it in the bright light. Those chairs looks amazing and just pop out. They aren’t too bright though so thats perfect.

Loving aqua too! I’ve been adding black and aqua accents to my all-white studio. It’s just enough color, but still serene and bright.

I’ve been really into aqua lately (haven’t we all?) and am definitely looking to add more of it to my kitchen. It’s definitely a lovely addition to any room!
