Making Stuff

Making Stuff for Kids and Making Stuff

This weekend I spent some time working on a couple of craft projects I have been wanting to finish up for blog tutorials. And now that those are done, I fear that I may be running out of ideas. As luck would have it, I received an email from Jessica over at Black Dog Publishing letting me know about these two great project books: Making Stuff and Making Stuff for Kids. What I love about these books is that they utilize both traditional craft materials and thrifty finds. The Making Stuff book gathers together over 50 projects from established members of the craft scene. While the Making Stuff for Kids book had projects like potato printing, kaleidoscopes, and even instructions for making your own pinata.

Jessica has very kindly offered papernstitch readers a HUGE discount on these books: 50% off either book from now until August 31st! That makes each book under $15. To order, all you have to do is email Jessica  jess{at} with your delivery address, quote “˜Papernstitch Offer as the subject of your email, and Jessica will take it from there. This offer is valid until August 31st.

Visit Black Dog Publishing for more titles.

I was given the ‘Making Stuff’ book as a gift by a friend of mine, and I have to say I love it, as it’s full of wonderful ideas and inspiration 🙂
