Good morning! Hope you had an awesome weekend.
I’ve been on the road for the last few days with Jeff and the kiddos (Luna and Nuggs) because we are driving to Florida to visit family for a while. I know we just moved to Seattle late last year, but we’ve decided it’s time to move again, so we’ll be visiting the fam until we decide where to go next.
We’ve already made stops in Boise, Salt Lake City and Denver. And we’ll be passing through Kansas City today, then Louisville and Asheville tomorrow and the next day. If you have any must-visit places or restaurants for our upcoming stops, I’d love to hear about ’em. Just leave a comment below.

We love the Biltmore in Asheville, it’s such a beautiful place. If you are not staying, the dining and wine are worth checking out as well as the fantastic scenery.
AnneHello! I’m moving to Asheville and have spent quite a bit of time there. Certainly make a stop at Tupelo Honey Cafe downtown to grab a bite to eat or head to West Asheville and stop at Sunny Point Cafe (to die for breakfast!). Downtown has a great scene of buskers and happenings all around. Go to Tressa’s or Jack of the Wood to catch some good music. Be sure to drive part of the Blue Ridge Parkway (driving north on the parkway from Asheville to Craggy Gardens never disappoints!). Have fun!

Uncle BeefyHey, I live in Louisville! Where do you think you guys will be going? The slugger museum is really cool and the Frazier Museum across the street is great for kids. Just a few tips. I’m available for a tour guide. 🙂 For a restaurant, go to Lynn’s Paradise Cafe, it’s amazing.
