Looking out of the window this morning I see rain clouds, a light drizzle and a watery hint of sunshine over in the distance, so today’s Super 16 is devoted to my yearning for blue skies. I remember my kindergarten teacher explaining to me that the sky wasn’t just a line of blue at the top of the paper, it was everywhere; now when I look up I imagine wishes attached to kite strings, floating off to the clouds. Blue skies makes me breathe deeper and slower, and lift my spirits, even when it’s icy cold outside. These photographs make me happy, it’s as simple as that.
