I'm bringing together a couple of my favorite things with today's recipe for color blocked peanut butter and jelly milkshakes. Yum! They have a little (homemade) peanut butter cookie sidecar too, for good measure.

Ingredients

  • 2 medium scoops of strawberry ice cream
  • 2 medium scoops of vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 2-3 tablespoons of creamy peanut butter
  • strawberry jam or jelly for garnish

Instructions

  • Add a spoonful of peanut butter to the bottom of your glass. Then add vanilla ice cream, 2 tablespoons of peanut butter, and 1/4 cup of milk into blender. Blend for 30 seconds to 1 minute (depending on your blender). Pour into glass.
  • Clean out your blender and get the 'jelly' portion ready... Add a 1/2 spoonful of jelly to your glass (if desired). Then add strawberry ice cream and 1/4 up of milk into blender. Blend for 30 seconds to 1 minute (depending on your blender). Pour into glass, on top of the peanut butter milkshake.
  • Add whipped cream of homemade peanut butter cookies and you're good to go.
