Strawberry Fields Salad (Salad Recipe with Strawberries and Pecans)
A strawberry pecan salad, good enough to be named after The Beatles' song. Haha. Seriously though, this strawberry fields salad is really delicious AND easy to make!
- 1/2 cup candied pecans
- 3-4 cups fresh strawberries
- 1 cup crumbled feta
- 8-10 cups spring mix greens or baby spinach
- 1 cup balsamic vinaigrette homemade or store-bought
This recipe is incredibly easy. Just wash and slice the strawberries thin(ish) - like three to four slices per strawberry.
And then chop the candied pecans, if desired. I left mine whole for more crunch.
Then combine strawberries, greens, feta, and pecans. Add dressing to taste and serve immediately.
Can I make this salad ahead of time?
While it really only takes 5-10 minutes to throw this entire salad together, you can get that time down even more if you prep some of the ingredients in advance.
So, slice the strawberries and store them in an airtight container until you're ready to make the salad. Then get them out and toss them in with everything else when you're ready to serve this strawberry pecan salad to guests.
