Holy cow! Is it Monday already?! This weekend went by so, so fast. Probably because I worked the majority of it, but I’m not complaining. Actually, it’s a good thing…
Because there have been a handful of pretty exciting things going on behind the scenes here at Paper & Stitch lately. Including an upcoming speaking gig in Orlando, a really cool DIY flower series that I’ll be kicking off next month (which is unlike any other flower project I have ever done before), an online course that I’ll be launching in the coming months (more details soon), and a juicy, secret project that is bigger than all the rest (which for now, I can’t share the details of).
With all these things going on, I completely forgot that Paper & Stitch turned Five on Friday! Yep, it was my blog b-day and I didn’t even blow out a candle for it. Whoopsie.
Needless to say, there hasn’t been much time for relaxing by the pool this summer, but I am grateful for all the opportunities that have come my way. Really grateful. And if you don’t mind me getting a little mushy here for a second, I’m so, super grateful for you too. Big time! Without you, there wouldn’t be anything to celebrate or even a reason for me to keep blogging at all. So thank you for being here and coming back, whether you found me recently or have been reading P & S for years. Your comments, emails, and tweets, totally make me smile. And if it were possible to reach out and give you a high-five right now, I totally would. So lets just pretend I was able to make that happen. Okay?
Thank you again for joining me on this crazy journey.
P.S. The speaking gig I mentioned is Blog Fete (in Orlando) this September and there are still a few tickets left if you’d like to attend. I am looking forward to sharing my experiences as a freelance contributor, at the conference, and I would love to see you there. Details on all speaker sessions here. And more details for upcoming events from yours truly on my (updated) speaking & events page.
