DIY Plant Valentines
There's plenty of valentine ideas out there, but the ones that involve plants are the best, in my opinion. This valentine is super easy and can be adapted to anything really - classroom valentines, teacher gifts, significant others, etc.
I fully admit that I am one of those people that think that plants are in acceptable gift for any occasion. But that's because THEY ARE.
Instructions
- There's not much to it - just grab a plant, put it in a pot, and add a hand drawn label. But the idea is cute and thoughtful. I mean, I don't know anyone who wouldn't appreciate a little plant gift (no matter how many they already have).
- The cutest part is getting kids involved in writing the name plates / messages.
- You even utilize plants from your own yard if you have enough time for plant propagation.
- I ordered the plant tags here and they were really affordable. BUT you could just as easily make them yourself with thin cardboard from a cereal box or something else along those lines.
