How to Make DIY Confetti with Flower Petals
This DIY confetti is perfect for those flowers that aren't quite as fresh anymore. Instead of throwing them out when they start to wilt, remove the petals and throw a party.

Pick the petals off some fragrant blooms.
Sort the petals into bowls. Or mix them together all in one bowl, to create a fresh potpourri of sorts.
Put them in little bags if you need to transport them somewhere else (like not at your own home). Or leave them in big bowls and get to tossing!
Virtually any type of flower will work for petal confetti like this. But here are a handful that are especially great for the job:
petals from hydrangeas
mums
dahlias
carnations
ranunculus (when they're just about to fall apart)
NOTE: To be on the safe side, keep pets away from flowers and petal confetti. Some flowers are poisonous to animals, especially cats.
