Three Ingredient Bagel Chips
These are honestly my FAVORITE bagel chips ever.... When I was a kid, my parents used to get garlic bagel chips from the store all the time, and I loved them. But these taste even better and are way cheaper to make too.
To give you a better idea... 6 fresh bakery bagels (not even the frozen kind) cost me $6-8 at the grocery store and I had the other ingredients at home already, so I could technically make 2-3 batches of these for under $10 total.
Cost: $6-8
- 3 medium to large size bagels my fave combo is 2 everything and 1 plain
- ¼ cup of extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
Then, cut whole bagels into slices. Mine were about a 1/4 inch thick, but you can go thinner if you want- just make sure the slices are all about the same width.
Toss into a large bowl.
Then, in a small bowl, mix olive oil and garlic powder. Stir until combined. Then pour mixture into the bagel slices and mix with your hands until all bagel pieces are coated.
Next, place bagel chips on a baking sheet or tray, spreading them out flat as much as you can.
Bake for 50 minutes, turning the sheet or tray every 15 minutes to ensure even baking.
