Now that it is officially summer, there are bound to be a whole lot of pool parties and outdoor picnics. AND the Fourth of July is right around the corner too. So today, I have a tutorial that falls right in line with the summer party / outdoor event theme: how to make mod, beet dyed drink stirrers.
Perfect for summer cocktails, or non-alcoholic drinks, and so easy to make.
Get the full tutorial for these drink stirrers and more photos over on Project Wedding.

What a sweet compliment, Rachel. Thank you!
papernstitchI love the results of the beet dye! It’s really hard not to pin everything from your site; you do such incredible work 🙂
Rachel | 52 Weeks ProjectLOVE this idea! Are those sticks the same as bamboo skewers? I’m pinning it now xox mia
MiaNice! I like to make drink stirrers. My first question was going to be where the sticks came from.. I always have plain wooden ones. What a neat idea that you dyed them. I would have never, ever thought to do that. Probably could work with a few other richly colored juices, too.
CristinaClever! So cute and simple. I love them.
Trina CurranOoooh really cool! I’m gonna make this tomorrow! 🙂

Leen PhilipsI’m planning a party in a couple weeks and I am super impressed with this idea! Might have to use it! Thanks for the great tutorial.
AmaliaGlad you like ’em Alex. They are so, so easy to make…I was thinking too, you could do different shapes with the paper cut outs, other than circles – triangles, octagons, etc.
papernstitchCool! What a simple way to amp up your drink stirrers. Love the little circle toppers too 🙂
