I almost can’t believe it. But we are finally stepping into the 21st century with podcasts here on papernstitch! I have been wanting to do this for so long. And I am often reminded of all the inspiration I find in other people’s podcasts and videos, so I thought it would be fun to start doing these here as well. I have a lot of ideas for making future podcasts much more interactive (more on that later).
So today, our very first podcast is with Jeff Mehlhoff (also known as the tech guy and the other half of papernstitch, but most importantly as my husband). We talked about the new site a little bit and the changes that have been made and why we made them.
Click the button below to take a listen. And let me know what you think in the comments. Any feedback would be great since this is the first podcast. AND if you have any suggestions for the next one (a question you would like answered, random fun ideas, anything really), let me hear it!

very insightful — it’s cool to hear how you’re both putting everything together
LaurenHi Mai. Thanks so much for the feedback. We are both fairly young (although that is relative). I am 26 and Jeff is 29. When I was still in school and showing my work, we both went to quite a few art openings and were always hang out at galleries (I even worked at one while I was in college), so that’s where some of our inspiration came from.

Hi Brittni and Jeff,
MaiThanks for sharing. It was nice to hear your voices (you both sound so young!) and I really liked what you had to say about the homepage, and how you were inspired by actual art galleries. Taking inspiration from that style of presentation was a really great idea. It’s awesome how you both form the perfect collaborative team. Great work, and I look forward to seeing the site continue to evolve.
This is one of the best comments on this blog – thank you for sharing with us. I wait every week to read and you never let me down you do a great service for the readers, thumbs up keep it up.
trader interview manHi Dara. Yes, I’ll be answering business related questions. If you have anything in particular you would like answered, please let me know.

Cool interview with your hubby. It is always interesting to hear about the behind the scenes action. Will you be answering any business questions in upcoming podcasts? That’s what I am most interested in.
