I know the countdown to Christmas is on right now, but I usually get so lost in this holiday stuff that I forget to share ideas for New Year’s Eve.
Despite the fact that most years Jeff and I literally do nothing at all for NYE, we always make plans to celebrate (and the ultimately decide to just crash at home with take out or something – living the exciting life over here). BUT I realize that the majority of people out there go do something fun and like to dress up for the occasion.
SO, I put together TWO lists for New Year’s Eve! If you’re headed out to a fancy party or a special dinner, I put together a handful of my favorite New Year’s Eve inspired outfits for you. AND if you’re staying in, I have a list for you too. Who says you can’t wear a cute sweatshirt while counting down on the couch!?

If you’re a night out kind of NYE girl, I have a whole bunch of picks for you! Some pieces that are sparkly, some that are fancy, and some that are just quirky and fun. What to wear if you’re headed out for New Year’s Eve….
And if you’re staying in, and watching the ball drop from the couch (nothing wrong with that), I have some cozy pj options – from glitzy silk pajamas to comfy sweatpants. What to wear if you’re staying in for New Year’s Eve…
Are you a pajamas at home on NYE kind of girl? Or night out on the town kind of girl? Would love to know what your plans are this year.

I love all of the staying in clothes you picked out. I’d love to get a new pair of joggers to wear on NYE.
SophieHilarious idea with these super chic pajamas, they’re almost chic enough for going out!

I’m usually ALWAYS stay at home kinda girl, but this year I’m actually going to a party! Needless to say, I’m completely in the dark on what to wear. Thank goodness I have a sister with a closet full of New Year’s outfits!!

I think it would be so fun to dress up for a house party somewhere warm! Cocktail party by the pool sounds amazing!
But since I am not – I always convince our friends to host a sweatpants New Years every year 🙂
Happy Holidays!
