This weekend I’ll be in and out of the studio while I have a big wood project installed that I’m super excited to share soon (I’ll probably do a sneak peek on Snapchat and IG stories if you want to check it out). Other than that, I’m not really sure what my plans are, especially since I’ve already blown through every episode of Stranger Things (on Netflix – highly recommend it). But I’m sure I’ll figure out something… I’m just happy that the weekend is here.
If you plan to tackle any projects this weekend, I have some suggestions for you. Here are 7 DIYs to try this weekend…
1. copper DIY plant stands from Sarah Sherman Samuel
2. homemade churro ice cream recipe
3. five summer cocktail recipes
4. industrial wall shelves DIY from Alana Jones-Mann
5. graphic DIY laundry baskets from Studio DIY
6. geometric DIY envelopes from Camille Styles
7. sunny striped DIY nails
P.S. Paper & Stitch was nominated as the Best DIY Blog for the 2016 Bloglovin’ Awards (sponsored by H&M this year)! Only 5 blogs are nominated in each category and voting takes place all this month. So, if you like Paper & Stitch, I would love for you to vote for me…
AND some of my friends have been nominated too Sugar & Cloth for Best Entertaining Blog // The House that Lars Built for Best Design Blog // In Honor or Design for Best Home Decor Blog. Vote for your faves right here!

MeganI tried #1 last weekend. Seriously couldn’t be easier and they look incredible! I made a short one and a tall one (just like in the picture). This project saved me loads of $$.

I bet you’d be pleasantly surprised, Loretta. All of the projects in this week’s roundup are very straightforward and easy DIY ideas. Maybe you should give one of ’em a try and see how it goes.
BrittniA few of these look really interesting but boy do they have “pinterest fails” written all over them for me. haha Here’s hoping? 🙂
