It’s about that time again…for another popsicle recipe, and this one is a little bit tart. Which is a nice little break from all the sweetness lately, if you ask me. What do you think?
Make these cherry limeade popsicles with just a handful of ingredients for a cool treat all summer long.
Ingredients:
– limeade
– 100% cherry juice
– fresh lime
– handful of fresh cherries (mine are rainier cherries, but any kind will do)
Steps:
This first step is optional and is entirely unnecessary. But I love the way sliced fruit looks in popsicles, so it’s in here. Cut fresh limes into thin slices. Cut cherries in half and remove the pit. Add limes and cherries to popsicles molds.
Mix cherry juice and limeade together and pour into each popsicle well until filled.
Place popsicle mold in the freezer for 45 minutes. Then remove from freezer, insert popsicle sticks, and place back in the freezer for 4 hours or until frozen.
When you’re ready to eat these pops, grab the tray from the freezer and run warm water over the underside of the tray for 20-30 seconds to remove.
