Oh My! Sugar High: How to Make Edible Cotton Candy Nests for Easter

DIY Cotton Candy Nests for Easter

If you like sugar as much as I do, you should give these DIY cotton candy nests a try for Easter this year. Or a colorful party, if Easter’s not your thing. It’s like bringing the state fair straight to your dinner table. Which sounds pretty fun, if you ask me.

To make your own, all you need is cotton candy. Which can be store bought or homemade. Here’s how to make your own…

DIY Cotton Candy Nests for Easter

1. Pull a good size piece of cotton candy from the rest.

2. Then create a circle shape (see photo), by wrapping the two ends toward each other and pressing the ends together to secure.

3. Next, break off another section of cotton candy and add it to the bottom. Creating a bowl shape. Secure by pressing the cotton candy together gently. It sticks to itself pretty easily.

4. Fill with candy and enjoy. And when the candies are gone, you can eat the bowl!
