Houston! I’m coming for ya…

I’m so excited to announce that I will be hosting a DIY home decor workshop in Houston next month, with my good friend Ashley of Sugar & Cloth.

The two of us will be teaching attendees how to make 5 different home decor items (just like the ones in these photos) that you’ll take home at the end of the workshop. DIYs include: how to make a retro wall clock, a DIY pendant light (from scratch – how to wire / assemble, etc), patterned linens, cool stone coasters, and a geometric planter.

All project supplies needed to create these 5 projects will be provided to you as part of the ticket price, so all you’ll need to bring with you is a smile.

Big shout out to our vendors / craft suppliers, Color Cord and West Elm, for helping us make this workshop as amazing as possible with the highest quality supplies for attendees.

Sweets, cocktails, and lunch will also be provided. Along with an awesome goodie bag filled with home decor products to add to your stash of DIYs with brands like Creativebug, Simple Goods Supply, Inkwell Press, and more.

Curious to see what this workshop will be like? Check out this recap from one of Ashley’s previous workshops.

Hi Meg. Not sure what you’re referring to. I did create a DIY floating flower wreath a while back. Is that what you’re looking for? If so, here’s the link… http://www.papernstitchblog.com/2014/03/26/how-to-make-a-geometric-floating-flower-wreath-floral-diy/

Your website is lovely! I can only hope that sooner than later I will be ready for events like this. I am a new blogger and just getting in the swing of things to share my artwork. I stop by blogs for inspiration and direction and to meet other bloggers. My name is Justine, and my website which is still brannddd new is dreams2designs.com. I hope you stop by, I am open to tips. Forgive the lack of pictures, I have some but being that I mostly paint and live in the midwest I have not had a lot of chances to take out our new camera to get amazing photos yet. You can find a lot more of our work on Etsy, though that is still in the works as well. We have lots of new pieces almost ready from art to furniture and if I can ever get comfy with my sewing machine I really want to add some other home decor items.
