If I can somehow avoid the craziness of mall shopping a couple of days before Christmas, I am totally game. So, I’m happy to think outside the box when it comes to last minute holiday shopping, especially if it’s super convenient. And that’s where today’s post comes into play.
I’ve put together a last minute gift guide of items you can pick up from a surprising source. Bet you never would have guessed that every single one of these last minute gift ideas came from….wait for it… Cracker Barrel! I’ve teamed up with Cracker Barrel Old Country Store to share these last minute gift ideas and EVERY single one of them came from one of their local stores, right outside of Atlanta!
If you’re scratching your head thinking, ‘Well great, I don’t live anywhere near Atlanta’, no worries. Because the items I’m featuring are available at Cracker Barrels across the country. AND since Cracker Barrel’s are typically located right off the interstate, it’s actually a pretty clever spot to pick up last minute gifts on the way to see family, etc. Which really resonates with me, since I…ummm…tend to be a last minute shopper, no matter how hard I try to get it all done ahead of time. You can also get most of these items on Cracker Barrel’s website, too!

If you’ve ever been in a Cracker Barrel store before, you know that it’s quite the experience. The store itself is connected to the restaurant, and you walk through the store to be seated to eat. My parents used to take my brother and I when we would go on road trips and we’d play the giant checkers game in front of the fireplace while we were waiting for our food. So, it totally brought back some childhood memories.
Anyway, the store itself sells a little bit of EVERYTHING…from old timey candy and sodas to quirky toys (I found some tiny magic 8 balls), home decor and cooking items (including pastel pink dutch ovens), even clothing!
It had been a little while since I’d been in a store though, so when I arrived, I wasn’t sure what to expect. But I was pleasantly surprised with all of the options and everyone there was super friendly and helpful. Sooooo, what exactly did I find for my last minute gift guide?
The short answer is a whole bunch of things! And the long answer goes something like this…
For the Beauty Lover // There are lots and lots of beauty lotions, bath products, and even makeup items at Cracker Barrel. My faves include: goat milk hand cream from Dionis, J.R. Watkins bath soak and head to toe kit, Burt’s Bees hand cream and foot cream, along with Burt’s Bees lipsticks and balms.
For the Cook // Okay, these pink Oh Gussie dutch ovens are one of my absolute faves, especially for anyone you know that likes to cook…while also loving pastels. 🙂 And there are some super affordable wood cutting boards that would also be great (see one of ’em peeking out in the photo at the very top of the post?).
For the Music Lover // If you know any music lovers, Cracker Barrel has vinyl AND record players that would be a good match. I picked up a Beatles album, 1989 from T Swift, and Pet Sounds from The Beach Boys (a gift for Jeff).
