I’ve been cooking more and more lately and wanted a little half apron to wipe my hands on while preparing a meal, so I made one….with a scarf. Scarves.net challenged me to whip up a fashion-related DIY with one of their scarves and this apron is what I came up with.
It’s a no-sew polka dot cafe apron and is as easy as pie to make on your own…in less than 30 minutes. The finished apron works well for crafting too if you’re not a cook, FYI. And it’s a great way to get use out of those fall and winter scarves during the warmer summer months. Full tutorial right here.
On another note, today is the very last day to enter to win 72 rolls of washi tape from The Plaid Barn (retail value $129). Enter here if you haven’t already. Good luck!

Thanks Fern. The bowl is from Target. I’ve had it for a while though. Hope you’re able to find one!papernstitch

So easy and cute! I love the polka dot scarf and coral ribbon combo! Love that it’s a no-sew project. I would love to learn to sew – but that’s a project for another time.
Thanks for sharing, I’m definitely going to try this one out.
