I love mixing and matching when it comes to clothing, accessories, and even home decor related design. So, why not take that approach for a new hair tutorial, right?
This side swept braid and wave is a little bit sweet mixed with a tiny bit of edge (it’s the slicked back side that does it, I think). And I’m kind of loving how they work together. What do you think?

Instructions
- Curl hair and prep with your favorite texturizing products. We used a texturizing powder at the roots and a texturizing spray all over the rest.
- With your hair parted on the side start a braid on the side with the least hair. Braid each strand under, continually adding hair to the strands as you go, creating an inverted french braid.
- Continue the process until you get to the base of your neck and secure with bobby-pins. After the braid is secured pull sections to give it a messy, textured look.
- Finish by teasing the hair left out of the braid and hairspray to keep the fullness in place.
