This week was a big one for me behind the scenes. I took care of the bulk of the interviews for the available Paper & Stitch positions –, celebrated Jeff’s b-day with a slice of cookie cake and a much needed nap (we keep it fancy, what can I say), and got one MAJOR (and pretty exciting) to-do crossed off my list that I’ll be sharing soon.
That said, I think I’m ready for nap #2 and a few DIYs to keep me busy for the weekend. What about you?
Here are 6 DIYs to try this weekend…
1. mini blueberry pies from Waiting on Martha
2. minimal DIY desk idea fromย Sinnen Rausch
3. 10 minute dip dyed woven baskets DIY
4.ย pastel sand art hair from A Subtle Revelry
5. rainbow crepes with key lime whipped cream from Proper
6. taro and black sesame ice cream recipes
Hope you have a great weekend.

I love taro desserts so the ice-cream looks fantastic to me! Pretty pastel hair too, awesome!

Cool. Thanks for stopping by, Trisha. I’ll take a look at your link. ๐
BrittniBeautiful photos! I found your blog when I was searching for craft blogs in Germany, and I thought I would take a minute to plug my brand new Craft Box subscription service for all of Deutschland. It’d be great if you would take a minute to check it out. You can find more info at www.craftyourself.de
We are also looking to connect with some great blogs for some mutual advertising, please let me know if you would be interested!
TrishaI love that desk too, Anna. And would have to agree that birthday naps are pretty great…even when its not your bday. ๐
BrittniBirthday naps are the best naps! And that DIY desk is too cool. My obsession with hairpin legs might make me a bit biased, though. ๐
AnnaI can attest to the tastiness, Ramona. Love pretty much any ice cream flavor though (of course).
Brittniblack sesame ice cream sounds tasty :-O
RamonaI like that idea, Lex! Always up for keeping the celebration going. Happy weekend to you, Vita, and Logan.
BrittniYay for weekends! And for to-dos getting crossed off! Keep Jeff’s celebration going through the weekend and skip all that work I know you have! ๐ Thanks for sharing my crepes!
