Is it just me or does the change of season make your skin seem duller, as it gets colder outside?
I’ve been noticing it more and more lately. So today, I’m sharing a fall body scrub for fall that 1) exfoliates your skin without damaging it 2) is rich in antioxidants and 3) smells so good, you might be tempted to eat it (and technically you can if you’re into that sort of thing). Bonus: You can use it on your face too! Click through to make your own DIY pumpkin spice brown sugar scrub.
How to Make a Pumpkin Spice Brown Sugar Scrub
To make this scrub, just combine all of the ingredients below…
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup of coconut oil (you can also use honey or olive oil)
- 1/2 teaspoon vitamin E oil
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin spice
- 1/2 teaspoon any citrus essential oil
Then to use, scoop a small amount into your hands and scrub all over your face or body. Allow to sit on your skin for 3-4 minutes. Rinse well and use a clean towel to dry. You can use this scrub 2-3 times a week and if it’s stored in an airtight container, it should last for several months.
