It’s starting to feel like summer around here, which is the perfect time for making bite size snacks. And you know how I love crostini recipes (I think it’s because they’re so easy to make and pretty too), so I made fresh fruit and prosciutto crostinis with homemade goat cheese over on Darby Smart.
These little guys are the perfect way to celebrate the sun season. I feel like I could do a crostini cheers right now, but that might be weird. I think I’m just excited because I made the goat cheese myself. I’m kind of proud of it because I’ve never made cheese before now. And I feel like I might just be addicted now. It’s really fun!
Head over to Darby Smart to see the full video tutorial (yay for videos) I made for these little guys.

Curious to know….What would you add to your crostinis if you were giving this recipe a try?

Fresh Fruit & Prosciutto Crostinis - Makers Bakers Movers & ShakersThank you fir your response, Brittni, but U cannot get such a kit. As I mentioned, I need to make it from scratch…
LianneHi Lianne. All that info is in the goat cheese kit from Darby Smart (comes with directions for making your own goat cheese and everything you’ll need to make it, with the exception of goats milk). So, if you follow the link in the post, you’ll be able to pick up a kit. Hope that helps.

Love to try this as I’m intolerant to cowmilk. I will need to make it from scratch. But I can’t find the measurements anywhere…
LianneHow much citric acid for how much milk?
How long and at what temperature do you heat the milk?
Thanks Lacey. 🙂
