I’ve had a few of Jeff’s old button down shirts sitting in a topple-worthy pile of fabric for, no exaggeration, at least two years now. Eeee.
Soooo…instead of letting those old shirts continue to collect dust in my craft closet, I decided to wrap some holiday gifts with them. And the best part is, you don’t even need any tape! Just an old shirt and a pair of scissors. You could just as easily use plain fabric if you don’t have any shirts to recycle at the moment.
You can check out the full tutorial over on Momtastic, where I shared the full step by step process, for wrapping presents without tape.
P.S. These presents are so soft to the touch, you could nestle ’em right up to your face. If you have an interest in that sort tof thing. Try doing that with regular wrapping paper. Not gonna work.
Curious to know… Are you incorporating any DIY wrapping paper ideas in your gift giving this year?

Checking your blog out for the first time. This is a great idea! Now I know what to do with my bags of leftover fabric! Smart girl!
Marie @ Life is a HighwayThis is such an awesome idea! Thank you for sharing!
Meg @ Adventures in VerdanceThis is so awesome! And warm and cozy. Love this, thanks for the inspiration. I also just saw your home depot post on air plant terrariums and love that idea, I have some just hanging on nails but I feel its a little too rustic and I would rather bring more warmth into the room. Will be trying it this weekend. Thanks!
