I’ve shared a bunch of s’more recipes over the years – mini s’more pizzas, s’more pop tarts, s’more ice cream sandwiches – but nothing quite like this one…Because these s’mores are in a cup! Plus, they involve candy bars!
They’re super easy and you can make them ahead of time and toast up the marshmallows when they’re ready to serve. So simple! And kind of perfect for summer…. and Fourth of July… which is coming up quick. Click through for the recipe.
Candy Bar S’more Cups Recipe
Ingredients
- pudding (chocolate, white chocolate, or cookies and cream, etc)
- graham crackers
- your favorite candy bar
- mini marshmallows
Instructions
Start by crushing graham crackers into small pieces. I put them a sealed bag and used my hands to crush them up without making a mess. Set aside. Then, crush up a candy bar the same way. Set aside.
Start by adding several heaping spoonfuls of pudding into a cup, any flavor you like. I used shallow cups with a wide mouth (these) because they’re easy to layer up and the perfect size for a single serving that’s still pretty big.
Then, add a layer of crushed candy bar (about half of one bar) OR crushed graham crackers. Next, add another layer of pudding – either the same flavor or a new flavor. Add another layer of either crushed candy bar or graham crackers (alternate from whatever you added in the layer before).
At this point, you can put the cups in the fridge until you’re ready to serve them. Then, just add mini marshmallows and toast the marshmallows with a creme brûlée torch (this is the one I have).
I used crushed up peanut butter cups, butterfingers, and snickers bars for the candy bar layers of each s’more cup. But I think pretty much any chocolate candy bar would work for this – kit kats, twix, milky way, etc.
These would be good for National S’mores Day too (which is coming up in August).
Are you a s’mores fan? What do you think of this make-ahead option?
